Health & Safety During The COVID-19 Pandemic

In the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are taking your health and safety extremely seriously. We are putting in place protocols designed to keep our office as safe as possible, such as:

  • Carefully screening each patient's status prior to the appointment.

  • Utilizing virtual visit for all patients who are screened positive for the risk of COVID-19 exposure. We also encourage patients who are not acutely ill, to utilize a virtual visit whenever possible (#stayhomestayhealthy).

  • Performing examination and testing of patients with respiratory symptoms in their respective vehicles using a "drive-by system" or outside.

  • Limiting the number of person accompanying a patient to ONE parent or guardian only. Additional persons, including siblings of any age, may be asked to wait in the vehicle. Infants less than one month of age may be accompanied by both parents. Twin siblings up to two years of age with concurrent appointments may be accompanied by both parents.

  • All patients 2 years and older (or as tolerated for younger patients) and the person(s) accompanying them for an in-person visit in the clinic MUST wear a face covering at all times throughout their visit in the clinic. If they do not have a face covering upon arrival, the appointment may need to be rescheduled. Acceptable "face covering" includes: N95 masks, surgical masks, fabric masks. Scarfs, simple fabric, gaithers, vented masks, and clear face shields that do not fully cover nose and mouth and masks with are not considered an acceptable face covering.

  • Minimizing congregation in the waiting room. Upon arrival, patient is asked to ring a doorbell, and a provider will unlock the door and screen for your body temperature, using a no-touch infrared thermometer, prior to admittance to the office. If anyone in your group is presently ill, the visit may need to be rescheduled to another time.

  • Disinfecting all facilities and equipments with industrial-grade germicidal solution after each patient visit, regardless on whether or not the child is sick. Paying particular attention to tools and equipments that your child comes in contact with, including exam table, scale, diagnostic equipments as well as the restroom, diaper changing tables and door handles. Hand sanitizer is also available for you to use throughout your visit to the clinic.

  • We recommend that all of our clients observe current local, federal and company-specific guidance related to the use of face covering. At this time, it is our company-wide policy to NOT provide a letter to exempt any individual from complying to this guidance.
